Arlington resident, Robert Brown, used Door2Door to the Arts to attend three sessions of the Interactive Art Workshop for Seniors conducted by instructors from the Arlington Center for the Arts.
These three works were produced during the Watercolor and Crayon Resist Painting session.
DOOR2DOOR TO THE ARTS
Door2Door to the Arts takes senior citizens to a variety of arts and cultural events in greater Boston, as well as provides opportunities for hands-on engagement in arts. This fall, we are pleased to present fourth season of events.
Each of the events in our Summer 2012 calendar has been planned based on suggestions from patrons of our three previous seasons. The events are offered at a variety of price points so that there is something for everyone. When possible, ticket subsidies are also offered. We are actively raising money from individuals, corporations and funders to offer ticket subsidies.
The Door2Door to the Arts program has been made possible through the vision and support of the Tufts Health Plan Foundation, which shares our goal of fostering quality of life, even without the car keys. We are also grateful to the many cultural institutions who have offered us free and discounted tickets to make these outings possible.
